::: December 2007 ::: ~28 6 more sleeps till we head back to Seattle. i hope to begin and complete forest path stole during our stay there. winter. ~26 will likely finish the golden moebius today. i adore silk. ~23 this remains my favorite Christmas sharing... ~22 done a lot of knitting and unknitting this week. ~17 i may have 3 or 4 less skeins of yarn than i did at the beginning of the year. i have 3 or 4 less pounds of me, but i may have put them on during this year as well. i would definitely like to see stash and weight get lighter during 2008. trying to invent a 2008 mantra, about sitting up straight, being strong in abdomen(fire in the belly) and open and brave heart. i saw that i was blaming all the sadness around me for my own sadness. want to deal with my sadness as a separate issue. it doesn't do the sad world any good for me to be sad. i want to look into my heart and feel peace, bravery, kindness&joy. perhaps mantra that contains fire, earth, water, air, spirit...maybe that is it "fire,earth,water,air,spirit" ah ho. ~11 hand is just beginning to ache from too much crochet, had expected that much sooner. today i believe i will finish all the remaining squares, leaving only the decision and doing of border. one really great suggestion was surrounding in small squares, but i am not sure i have the will power to do that, perhaps also not enough color yarn left. still have 10 skeins of denim. anyway,oh, i just pictured myself crocheting border as we ride to and from portland this weekend.......hmmmm. ~10 working on both section 10s together, just beyond halfway. so ready to get on to the next project, am wrapped in the so-far-babette as i type. theres an orange in it that matches my chair. photo op i guess. ~07 one attempt to make my own photo calendar and i am ready to pay for flickers. fine. gathering up photos to make memory game for ben. down to section 10 which i am making 2 of.....proud blanket bubbles. ~06 felt like a crochet festival yesterday, with wee breaks to toss bouncy ball with Cleo& test drive a gingerbread cookie recipe with pumpkin ingredient. estimate babette size will be 60x80. that will be good. ~05 beginning section 9. have reached 200 photo limit on free flickr account, feeling resistant to paying, tho its minimal&useful for ravelry.ponder into the new year. ~01 hello december. santa. christmas lights. anna's birthday. benjamin&other family birthdays too. always the thought of fresh start at being good.working on section 7 of 10 on babette, sections taking more than a day now. may add second section 10 to other side if yarn and will power remain, as well as a border. still will be small blanket. |
