~Huckleberry Creek~

Huckleberry Creek is the name we have given to the land.
There are wild huckleberries and a creek.

a cloudy warm windless day in January.

the climb down and back up the hill ~~ full of magical little hollows, fresh water babblings, slippery slopes, brambles...

wild iris, one of the surprises of the land. We also found out that the hill is full of huckleberries.

this is the natural meadow which is returning. The hilltop had been mercilessly cleared by previous owner, but the perma-culture is coming back very nicely. Main ingredients are pines, salal, huckleberry, rhodedendron, fern, rush.
