:: November 8 ::
Here are big kureyon socks (colorway 5, U.S #4 needles) from
the top down, may be my favorites at the moment. I think I am
going to entertain myself by taking this photo with all my socks
while I continue working on slippers. Other fun over the weekend
was making a batch of christmas catnip mice for the family cats,
which caused Shadow to act silly around me quite often. I am
not sure I exactly approve of catnip...
now I am determined to create the best catnip mouse
pattern ever. The knitting got more fun when I switche from Donegal
Tweed to Silk Garden. woo ~ fancy mice.

:: November 3 ::
Here are big kureyon socks (colorway 2, U.S #4 needles) from
the toe up. Earlier this fall I did my usual top down sock in
big kureyon which I like better than these, will pose them on
the happy knitting chair next. I think I would like my next sock
knitting skill to be short row heels.
Have made a sole-ful start with slippers.
Wonder if yarn shopping would cure my political blues this
morning...

:: November 1 ::
Spent Halloween in my Boo,too socks. You are looking at just shy
of 4 skeins of Silk Garden, making for happy warm feet. I tested
myself by starting another pair of socks with figure 8 cast on,
and got it first try, so I think that skill is mine now. Didn't
stop with the test till a whole sock was done using Big Kureyon
in color #2(photo when 2nd sock is done, know it is pretty pretty
pretty)
Also restarted my Ben look alike helmet because I didn't like
the way the increases looked. I had done it the way shown below
which left 2 blue stitches in a row and I have switched that
now to picture above where I increased both a blue and green
stitch at the same place so the stripe remains more consistent.
And now it is November and there are still no Christmas
slippers ready here. I know I can do these and don't know why
I resist starting in... meanwhile...
we call windless days like this "visitor days"
I think we take this photo at least once a month xo
