252 stitches :: Jan 10 thought I might be reaching full floor size so I slipped it partially onto a 2nd long needle, to find I have a ways to go yet. Seeing this big space of just stripes makes me want to try some variation on the walls. fun to come : )
igloo flooring :: Jan 8, 2005 ok, Max, here I go. Today was to be official igloo starting day but I got a pretty good headstart on the floor yesterday. My guess is sometime today it will be wide enough, am aiming for something between Shadow curled up and the size of the garage shelf where igloo is intended to live. I am creating .pdf file of pattern as I go for my own pattern writing practice. If you are interested in knitting along with Shadow and me, I'll keep the pattern posted to the level I've accomplished. I would like to hear from you if you do try.
slipper presents were a happy success. I feel glad to be on to new things in the new year. slippery slope :: Jan 5, 2005 looking at these makes me want to believe they were fun to do and I cannot really figure out why they were not. Whatever it was I don't want to discuss. Tomorrow is the day we will be having our belated Christmas gathering with the young ones, so maybe I will come home with happy pictures of slippered feet.
