May 14 :: a hot water bottle to cover, the yarn is very soft Paton's Bella 50/50 wool/acrylic and some Inca Alpaca for added super-softness

xo

"today is for top points of final panel, woo-hoo"

May 13 :: Today's daydreams are New Zealand woolpaks. Above, with Rowan Big Print...something felted. I have been thinking of using the big print at the top, in loop fashion...will try small sample first

and, periwinkle, with Anny Blatt Rustique which is felted looking wool. Maybe a felted scarf with the Rustique embroidered on it.

I am fond of daydreaming about yarn projects.

May 12 :: here's something to do with the leftovers from the map,

from Vogue Caps and Hats

I have heard that Donegal Tweed felts nicely. It's been too long since I felted something

xo

"just 100 more rows of mapping"

May 11 :: another daydreaming of project is this, from the leftover dandy of my lovely poncho(see it on photo page). hoods are very handy on the coast.

"on to Russia now"

May 10 :: tho it seems to me that a simple cotton blanket would be more useful, I've decided to use the Araucania for this sweetie poncho.

Weekend pleasures included tide pools and knitting New Zealand and Australia

"headed for New Guinea"

May 8 :: mostly I daydream about what I want to do next xo

to see our first Bandon rainbow

"on to Australia"

May 5 :: have passed the halfway point on this panel, very abundant loose ends in Africa.

Canada, draped over the sofa's arm , looks pretty nice : ) This remains a fun project.

I am glad our world has so much water. Yesterday I worked my way up the Indian Ocean towards South Africa. Here is the map I will be checking in with through the next week.

"half way around the world"

next up :: something in orange and gray Bergamo in honor of Benjamin's 2 cats. have played with cables with the idea of an orange and gray tail winding around each other. cat pockets...

or

something in colorful cottons would be more seasonably appropriate. from elann.com I have many bright colors of Araucania nature cotton.
